Physician Background

Dr. Cagua-Koo is a 2007 graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA. While there, he was awarded the Presidential Award for Citizenship and Public Service. In his prior career, Dr. Cagua-Koo founded and ran a faith-based nonprofit, organizing and serving high-risk Vietnamese youth in Dorchester, MA.
During his residency at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Dr. Cagua-Koo trained under a Functional Medicine practitioner and learned the cultural and economic aspects of serving a poor Latino urban population. He completed residency in 2011 and has continued his training in Functional Medicine and Environmental medicine, as well as training in ART(Klinghardt), LDA/I, Functional Genomic Analysis, etc. Dr. Cagua-Koo's particular expertise is in helping clients with Mold Avoidance while at the same time addressing the various layers of heavy metals, aluminum, pesticides, parasites, Lyme and co-infections, and EMFs.
Between 2014-2016, Dr. Cagua-Koo went on a Mold Avoidance journey due to an emergent medical condition, and gained valuable experience learning about "locations effect". He traveled to Washington, California, Arizona, Utah, Colombia, Yucatan Peninsula and parts of Baja Mexico to learn the skills of Mold Avoidance and discerning the difference between EMFs, Pesticides, Mystery Toxin, and Cyanotoxins. He learned that "good or pristine" locations was the single most powerful therapy that helps the body heal and recover.
